Join Dr. Jeff Young from Animal Planet’s Dr. Jeff: Rocky Mountain Vet at this year’s Welcome Reception!

Animal Planet’s Dr. Jeff Young has been named Keynote Speaker for the 2018 Atlantic Coast Veterinary Conference®. Dr. Jeff Young graduated from Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in Fort Collins in 1989 and established Planned Pethood Plus, Inc (PPP) in Wheaton Ridge, CO, the following year. This veterinary clinic is best known for its low-cost mobile neutering services, Native American reservation work, and training of veterinarians from around the world in efficient surgical techniques.

In addition to his work with PPP, Dr. Young has served on and consulted with numerous humane society boards both nationally and internationally. He also founded Planned Pethood International, a nonprofit group that helps fund spay/neuter work and provide veterinary training from its veterinary hospitals in Bratislava, Slovakia; Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico; and the new International Training Center in Playa Del Carmen, Quintana Roo, Mexico. Dr. Young is driven by a simple underlying mission: “to significantly reduce companion animal overpopulation and suffering throughout the world.”

He is most proud of having personally sterilized over 165,000 animals in the past 29 years, and he is an outspoken proponent of early age neutering for companion animal population control. Dr. Young stars in the television show Dr. Jeff: Rocky Mountain Vet, on Animal Planet.

Dr. Jeff Young will be speaking at this year’s Welcome Reception on Monday, October 8 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Atlantic City Convention Center.

For 29 years, the Atlantic Coast Veterinary Conference has been providing veterinary healthcare professionals with unmatched continuing education and networking opportunities.
